The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria returned home today after successfully defending the U-17 world cup in Chile enroute to an unprecedented fifth title.
The team landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja around 3pm. On hand to receive the team were representative of the FG among others from the football governing body.
The team arrived in an elated mood and met by equally jubilant citizens before the team was transported comfortably in an NFF branded bus while waving to fans on the streets of Abuja before arriving at the hotel where they will spend the night.
