Golden Eaglets, champions at the recently concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile will be hosted on Sunday, November 29, at the Aso Rock Villa by President, Muhammadu Buhari, as it was gathered.
The Eaglets won a record fifth world title last Sunday following a 2-0 win against fellow West Africans, Mali. The country’s number one citizen will host them specially at the banquet hall of the presidential villa on the said date where he is also expected to reward them for their heroics.
“We are eagerly waiting to know what we will get for doing the nation proud in Chile.“It will be a great honour to wine and dine with him and we also hope to go home happy at the end of the day," one of the players reportedly said.
