Habeeb Akinfegbe

The U-23 team of Nigeria qualified for next summer's Olympics football event for men after pipping hosts Senegal 1-0 in the first semi final match of the tournament. Consequently, Samson Siasia will be making a second appearance at the Olympics after leading the likes of Nsofor, Osaze, Isacc Promise and co to the final of the mundial but lost to a Messi inspired Argentine side, 0-1.

Etebo Oghenekaro’s penalty in the 75th minute was all Dream Team VI needed to clinch victory in the encounter after Ousseynou Thioune had handled the ball in his penalty area to prevent Eyo Ebong from scoring.
