In an interview with Complex Magazine, Justin confessed that their relationship fell apart because they simply moved too fast. Hey, we've all been there, done that, Jelena... "I moved in with my girlfriend when I was 18. Started my own life with her. It was a marriage kind of thing. Living with a girl, it was just too much at that age," he said.
He also revealed that along with being together all the time came tons of fights. "We were so in love. Nothing else mattered. We were all about each other. But when it's like that and you get your value from that, people will always disappoint you. Your girl or your dude, they're always going to disappoint you. Your full identity can't be in that person. My identity was in her. Her identity was in me. When stuff would happen, I would lose my freakin' mind, and she would lose her mind, and we would fight so hard because we were so invested in each other."
These two have been talking about each other a lot these days. Not only did Selena recently open up about her thoughts on Justin's big music comeback, but she also said she's not sure if they'll ever get back together.
He also awkwardly denied on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that his new song is about her. At least these two are learning a lot from their rocky relationship with each other? Maybe they WILL get back together one day?
