Confederation of Africa
Football ( CAF), has release a 10-man shortlist for African
player of the year award, with no Nigerian player making the list.
CAF also shortlisted 10 players for
2015 African Player of the Year (Based in Africa) in the Glo-CAF Awards.
The players were shortlisted from 37
players who earlier were nominated for the African Player of the Year, and 20
players who made the list for the Player of the Year (Based in Africa)
category.
Nigeria’s Vincent Enyeama and Ahmed
Musa were earlier shortlisted, but they were nowhere to be found in the latest
list released on Monday.
Herewith the top 10 nominees
for the two categories; African Player of the Year 2015 and African Player of
the Year (Based in Africa) 2015.
The winner will be decided
by votes of the Coaches or Technical Directors of the National Associations
affiliated to CAF.
The awards gala will be held
on Thursday, 7 January 2016 in Abuja, Nigeria.
