LMC LANDS HARD ON SUNSHINE

The League Management Company has banished Sunshine Stars from the Akure Township Stadium for one year following the unruly conduct  of their fans in Sunday's match day 36 of the Glo Premier League fixture against Lobi Stars.

It was gathered that the game was stopped in the 77th minute when some of the home fans attacked the match officials and some of  the away side's officials with the scoreline 1-0 in favour of the visitors. According to a release by the LMC the Owena Waves will also play their next three home games in Lagos. The disrupted game will however be completed in Abuja on November 11, starting from the 77th minute.

The League body also awarded three points and three goals to Nasarawa United after Sharks abandoned their game on Sunday at the Lafia Township Stadium. The Blue Angels will also lose three points and three goals from already accrued points on season tally for refusing to continue play after a penalty was awarded against them.
