EAGLES' CAMP SWELLS

The latest arrivals ahead of Friday's 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying clash into Swaziland in Lobamba, include Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi and Manchester city rookie Kelechi Iheanacho as number of invited players swells to 21.

Aside Mikel and Iheancho, Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi, Turkey based Godfrey Oboabona, Genk midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile and Russia based Sylvester Igbonu arrived at breakfast time on Tuesday. Earlier, the Abuja camp on Monday evening welcomed Sunshine Stars' Paul Onobi, Ezekiel Bassey of Enyimba, Shooting Stars' Jamiu Alimi, Kalu Orji of Enugu Rangers. Wolverhampton's Carl Ikeme,  Odion Ighalo, Dele Alampasu and Ikechukwu Ezenwa of Sunshine Stars, Sharks' Chima Akas and Abia Warriors' Austin Oboroakpo are also at the Bolton White Apartments, Abuja.

According to Toyin Ibitoye, the media officer of the Super Eagles, more players were expected at lunch time on Tuesday as training was expected to begin in the evening by 4pm.
