26 NPFL stars are confirmed to depart for the north African nation of Morocco ahead the African U23 Championship when Siasia announced his squad for the camping exercise.
Dream VI face Egypt, Algeria and Mali in the eight team tournament that will serve as Africa’s Olympic football qualifier for Rio 2016.Nine players from the initial 35 were dropped after failing to meet with expected standard. Most of the players represented the country at the 2015 All African Games football event where they won the broze medal Christian Pyagbara, Mustapha Abdullahi and Austine Oladapo dropped from the squad. The NPFL stars will be joined by their foreign based counterparts before the final list is made public. The African U23 tourney holds between November 28 – December 12, 2015.
